About Me
My name is Cormac Colton and I am a Diabeastic. So what is a Diabeastic? This is a person who has learned how to control their Diabetes with Fitness and transformed into a "beast". I developed type 1 Diabetes at the age of six after a life-changing virus. Sixteen years later, I have decided to create blogs in regards to Diabetes and Fitness. Currently, I am a 3rd year intern studying Sports Strength and Conditioning in university. Combining my knowledge of Diabetic Nutrition and Fitness, I aim to help fellow Diabetics out so we can all become Diabeastics and manage our lifestyles whilst pursuing our goals.
About this Blog
This blog will be dedicated to Diabetics and Fitness. Controlling Diabetes during and with Sporting activities is very challenging. From this blog, you will learn how I managed my Diabetes more efficiently and how I maximised my Fitness with Diabetes. Maximising your Fitness with Diabetes is something a lot of people struggle with and I was no exception. From my experiences and mistakes, I learned how to manage my Diabetes during Sports and also utilised Fitness to help me manage my Diabetes. I will write weekly blogs based on areas such as nutrition, insulin sensitivity, and many other areas.
